Meet The Team
Heather B. Anderson, DPT
Heather Beal Anderson, PT, DPT leads the team with 20 years of experience. Heather graduated in 2000 with a Masters degree in PT and returned to graduate in 2011 with her transitional Doctorate in PT. Heather has cared for Down East Maine since 2001, and opened Coastal Physical Therapy Services, LLC in 2010. Heather has focused mainly on outpatient orthopedics, but has gained experience in hospital based care, home health, skilled nursing, and pediatrics. Her newest passion, Hippotherapy, has lead her to co-found Whispering Pine Equine Alliance, a non profit organization bringing healing to the community through horses. A native Downeaster, Heather prides herself in offering the highest quality Physical Therapy to her community.
When Heather is not busy working at CPTS, you can find her with her daughter, either at the barn or cheerleading.
Jordan Spencer, DPT
Jordan Grew up in Machiasport, Maine and is currently living in Hancock, Maine with his wife and dog. He graduated from Husson University in 2017 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After graduating, he became a traveling physical therapist and moved to Texas. In 2018, Jordan returned to Maine to join the Coastal Physical Therapy team. He has experience treating a variety of conditions, and is certified in dry needling. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, fishing, and playing with his dog.
Anna Butler, PTA
Anna joined Coastal Physical Therapy Services in 2023. She grew up in Milbridge and graduated from Narraguagus High School in 2014. Anna continued her education at UMaine Orono, graduating with a Bachelor's in Kinesiology. She went on to obtain her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from UMaine Presque Isle in 2023. Anna brings fresh air to our clinic as she assists our patients to reach their goals. In her spare time, Anna loves to spend time with her family and friends, especially her niece and nephews.
